After the Tung Yang Cantonese BBQ in the Chengzhong Traditional Market had began to grow in revenue, the Mai brothers decided to establish a new company in 1972. They renamed the Tung Yang Cantonese BBQ to Hsin Tung Yang. Hsin Tung Yang is a firm that produces meat products. Later, Hsin Tung Yang also gets involved in the food processing industry. They built their first factory in Dayuan, Taoyuan, and it manufactures processed meat products. Hsin Tung Yang’s factory in Dayuan was the first to introduce the wastewater treatment technique from Netherland. In addition, the Dayuan factory has received FDA and ISO9001 certification. Hsin Tung Yang places great emphasis on sanitation control and technology; for example, Hsin Tung Yang uses a machine that standardizes the amount of moisture in each piece of beef.
Hsin Tung Yang also has competed for ownership of the stores at the highway rest areas and the international airport. Their intention is to allow everyone the opportunity to buy their products anywhere they want.
Furthermore, Hsin Tung Yang cares about their employees. Hsin Tung Yang even set up a gym for their employees in the factory. With the care measures for employees, Hsin Tung Yang now has around 100 employees who have invested their effort in the firm for over 20 years, and this is a great achievement.
