Mariposa was named after Dr. Yang Lao-Jyu, the founder of Cih-Sheng. Mariposa is a wonderland with coffee, baking, dining, arts, gardening and children’s dreams. It opened on December 1st, 2007. Mariposa spreads Dr. Yang’s spirit for life, “To respect the value of each life.” By the professional service and teaching of the team, the management mode which combined with the store gives the disabled people an opportunity to have a job.
In Mariposa, they will make different gifts according to different festivals each year. All the gifts are made by Cih-Sheng children. By this way, Mariposa not only provides more different products for the customers but also encourages Cih-Sheng children to learn more skills about how to make food. Every Cih-Sheng student works really hard in Mariposa. Although they learn slowly, they keep practicing and learning. In Mariposa, Cih-Sheng students learn a lot from the real working environment and make great progress every day, so they can have the professional skills to make a living in the society. That’s what Dr. Yang wanted.

To sum up, this small area which with not much seats is mainly in color bright and fresh light yellow. And it used the red sofa to embellish. Next to the hut, is a professional baking area. Front garden is an ecological area that makes people feel like back to a comfortable home and listening to the music freely. You will deeply know how hard they are working on it. Mariposa focused on how to take care of the disabled people and teach them to devote themselves to the whole society. Also, Mariposa hopes everyone who comes to here can learn to respect the meaning and value of life.
