Students from National Chang-Hua Senior School of Commerce Volunteered for the Activities at Cih-Sheng Nursing Home

Our Volunteers.

The student volunteers from National Chang-Hua Senior School of Commerce and National Chang Hua Girls' Senior High School are responsible for the performances, leading everyone to sing and dance together, playing the games and the like. They made everyone feel happy and warm.

Both these two senior schools have a great reputation in Changhua. It is especially commendable for the students to be volunteers at Cih-Sheng while their schoolwork is busy. It just happened that they were graduated from Yang Ming Junior High School. Alone with them to interact with the students in Cih-Sheng. We have learned about the how-to and attitudes toward volunteering. Cih-Sheng is truly a wonderful place that's full of love.

1.How was it during the activities?

To handle the situation was not difficult. It was a great pleasure to lead the activities, and the children were very cooperative.

2. What brought you to serve at Cih-Sheng?

We are the members of serving clubs at school. We will come and help if we are availble.

3. Are you afraid of those physically or mentally challenged children when facing them?
We interact with volunteers.

We all like them a lot and think they are really lovely. They are so enthusiastic to interact with us that we are all moved.

4. How do you feel when facing them?

We don't take them as different people. They all know how to answer the questions when we ask them.

5. How much do you know about their condition?

Sort of. Some of them are hearing impaired (or disabled), so we communicate with them by showing the gestures and they respond to us heartily.

6. Do you feel sad when you see these people with physical or mental challenges?

Yes. Seeing their disabilities really reminds us how lucky we are. Especially finding out some of them are not able to hear while we doing the performance makes us sad.

7. Have you ever done voluntary services for other related institutions?

Yes, the serving club of our school did. Just giving your love more, you'll find they are innocent and adorable kids actually.

By donating some money, giving the invoices* or giving our love by participating in more public warefare activities.

10. Will you guys come again to do voluntary work by any chance?
