My name is YU-CHEN UENG, I am the leader of “the Design Fairy”. I am so glad to have the opportunity cooperating with my four classmates and four junior classmates to attend the Cyberfair contest. Last year, I was one member of “The sky dreamer” team. Conducted by our teacher and our school seniors, we had done a great job last year. This year, we take the legacy of honor and responsibility left by our school seniors, completing the meaningful job with my classmates. We learn how to conduct a good interview, how to make a professional website and edit a good video, as well as the skills of arts and crafts. It has been a challenge; however, it also been an inspiring experience for us, too. For me personally, I learned a lot about how to conduct a case study and how to make a professional website. Most importantly, I have been deeply inspired by the idea of “team work”. Besides, Mr. Lin’s concept about his masterpiece and his persistence inspired me most, setting a model for me. I am so happy to attend this activity and I hope we can get a good result.

My name is Tzu-Liang Huang, I am a sixth-grade student at XinSheng elementary school. My habits are playing the piano, playing the violin, bicycle riding and reading, and I enjoy challenging myself more. Since I was a third-grade student, I have done a series of achievements. For example, I had overcome mountain Jade, the top mountain in Southeast Asia. I also swam across Sun Moon Lake—a 3.3 kilometers journey—for twice. Besides, I had completed the 1,000 kilometers journey around Taiwan—by bicycle! This time, I am so glad to attend the Cyberfair contest with many intelligent partners and I believe it will be an exciting challenge for me. I really appreciate the subject of our project—“Mr. Lin and his design”. Having the experiences of personal interview with Mr. Lin, closly study about the subject, Mr. Lin’s persistence in the field of design impresses me most. Inspired by him, I think we should keep his spirit in mind and never give up on our way to our dreams.

My name is YI-MING WENG, I am a sixth-grade student at Xinsheng elementary school in Taipei. This time, I have a very special experience—designing the website with the classmates I met since I was only a first-grade student! We have had a great time of mountain climbing, swimming and bicycling riding around Taiwan for the past years; and this time, we go to a static event for the first time, how exciting it is! In addition to encourage our friendship, I also gain a lot from the experience, because I learned how to gather the resources, how to conduct a successful interview and how to make a professional website. I am so honored to have a chance to get profound understanding about Mr. Lin through the process of making the website. Mr. Lin is known as a luminary for Taiwan’s design, he is also regarded as a leading guide for designers in Taiwan. Additionally, Mr. Lin is a very nice and kind person; he treats us as his family members. Mr. Lin is really an inspiring person.

I am Hsiao Yi-Hua and I am in the sixth-grade at Xinsheng elementary school. I feel it is wonderful to participate in the school Cyberfair. Besides learning how to make web pages, I also learned to cooperate and solve problems with my best teammates. Although it was a hard studying process and I sacrificed my leisure time, but I have learned more from the project. In this project, I have gained a lot of experiences and broaden my vision. I am glad I can take part in this contest. I hope we can improve and level up in the future.

When I was in the fourth and fifth grade, I took part in the science fair with my classmates and we won the second place of Taipei City’s elementary group. These experiences are very interesting. Besides sense of achievement, we can enhance our knowledge.
The topic of the school Cyberfair was closely related to art, which was quite different from the science fair. I’m not very familiar with it. I remember my art teacher once told me that “Art is surrounding us. It is everywhere.” I didn’t think that way before. But after I knew Mr. Apex Pang-Soong Lin’s works, I found out he was exactly the proof of the sentence. A normal vase of devil’s ivy became the well-known masterpiece due to Mr. Apex Pang-Soong Lin’s love for his father. Because of Mr. Apex Pang-Soong Lin, I realize that painting is not about how great and similar it is; it is all about creativity.

But when I knew I had the chance to join the cyberfair team, I said yes without any hesitation because it was a very meaningful and knowledgeable activity. Because everyone praises me that I’m good at oral speaking and writing, I am very suitable to participate in this contest. As a result, I was responsible for interviewing, explaining, and repeating in this project. I hope our team can get good result in the contest. Design Fairy Team, Go, Go, Go!

Hi, I’m Meng-Jie. I’m so glad that I had the chance to participate in the school cyberfair with my seniors. In my free time, I like to observe the nature and do some science research. I also like to draw pictures when I’m free. Our interviewer of the project is Mr. Apex Pang-Soong Lin. He is the master of design industry and also the representative who combines art and lives. Through the school cyberfair, I have learned and accomplished a lot of challenges, and I have gained a lot of sense of achievement. It triggered my passion for art and made Mr. Apex Pang-Soong Lin become my model: introduce my homeland Taiwan to the world. I want to thank my teachers and teammates for accompanying me finishing a wonderful journey of art.

Hello everyone, I’m Hou Kuei-Ying and I am in the fifth-grade at Xinsheng elementary school. I’m also the member of school’s orchestra. I’m very happy to take part in this school cyberfair and have the chance to interview the master of design in Taiwan, Mr. Apex Pang-Soong Lin. He promotes the design education in Taiwan, and push Taiwan to the world stage. He’s also an amiable and respectful person. I’m Yu-Ting and I am in the fourth-grade at Xinsheng elementary school. It was a great experience to participate in the school cyberfair with my eight seniors. I’m really obsessed with painting. I draw whenever I have time. I have just drawn a series comic about the war recently with a writing brush. My parents complimented that I am really good at the comic and encouraged me keep drawing. I’m very happy to be part of the member of our team. Although the process was really tiring, it was exciting and interesting that everyone worked together. I hope I can make some contribution by drawing pictures for the website to make it look prettier. Though I hope we can win, I still feel I have learned a lot from the project.
