In addition, the Wild Bird Society of Taipei was
commissioned by the Taipei City Government to operate and manage Guandu
Nature Park in 2001 and Zhishan Cultural Ecological Green Park in 2003,
which greatly helped the promotion and education of environmental
education. Guandu Nature Park is even the first environmental education
certification place in Taiwan. In 2014, it managed the Aogu Wetland
Forest Park. The Wild Bird Society of Taipei is divided into 3 systems,
one is the administrative department, one is the conservation and
rescue department, and the other is the education department. These
three departments promote the appreciation, research, and conservation
of the Wild Bird Society of Taipei.
How to join the Wild Bird Society of Taipei? Those who are
ROC citizens, at least 20 years of age, and have the household
registration in Taipei City or work in Taipei City can join the Wild
Bird Society of Taipei. The conservation work requires everyone to work
together. When we enjoy the view of wild birds, we should also maintain
the natural environment.
