The Wild Bird Society of Taipei is a civil society
formed by people with similar interests, who care about and conserve
wild birds and their habitats. The Wild Bird Society of Taipei
originated from the Taipei Bird watching Association in 1973, and
gradually the number of people watching birds increased. The Wild Bird
Society of Taipei was officially registered in September 1984. The Wild
Bird Society of Taipei has conducted various bird research surveys,
established a basic database, compiled reports, trained professional
interpreters, and promoted various bird watching activities, has been
is a pioneer of bird conservation in Taiwan. At present, the Wild Bird
Society of Taipei has a thousand members, and it is Taiwan's largest
and well-established civil society for bird appreciation, research, and
