Many people have heard the word─Homosexual, which is a morden concept an essay written by Karl-maria Kertbeny.In that 19th century, German Empire promulgated the new constitution and sentenced those who have sexual relationship with males for 1 to 4 years in prison.

Karl-Maria Kertbeny wrote an article to criticize and boycott the law, and created the word 「homosexual」replacing 「pederast」 at that time. Kertbeny hope this new word and explanation of the it can help to repeal German Empire criminal law No.175; however the statute was still passed and applied in 1871. 60 years later, it became the origin of the law of butchering homosexual by Nazi Government. In the early 20th century, part of America's homosexual used "gay" as their own label in order to distinguish "homosexual", which is widely used in pathology and clinic.

In 1960s and 1970s, America's homosexual strongly urged all the media and replace the word homosexual by gay, which was to widely report news about homosexual often used by the media. Actually, it's a long way. It's not until 1989 did New York Times accept the word "gay". Nowadays, "gay" is used to mean male homosexuals, and "lesbian" for female homosexuals. The latter one originated from island of Ancient Greece─Lebos, which is nearby Aegean Sea and Turkey North Shore, and important in habitation for Aeolian people. In the 7th century BC, Lesbos island is famous for lyric poems, and the most famous poet was a lesbian poet Sappho. Originally 「Lesbian」 meant people living in this island, but Sappho have 「Lesbian」a new explanation.

In the late 19th century, lesbians used as a medical term. Since then, 「lesbain」 contained the meaning of female homosexuals, and be widely used. Other words like"fag", "faggot", "home" and "dyke", have negative meanings. Sand of homosexual, now rise of the word 「queer」 originally have derogatory meaning. "Queer", originally but along with the usage of minority communities, this word was accepted by the minority.

The first mentioned same sex marriage in history happened in early Roman Empire, usually cited critically and ironically. At that time, emperor Hierocles called a slave from Cagliari husband and he also married an athlete in a public ceremony in Rome.

In AD 342 years, Christianity Constantius II and Jun Shi Tansi I decreed law law in Theodosius Code, prohibited same sex marriage to death.
