This story is about homosexuality and family members.
It is a tragedy containing realistic facets based on a true story.  Bobby is raised by his religious Christian mother with the conservative teachings. Bobby develops himself to find out his sexuality is unique.  When Bobby’s mother knows he is homosexual, she suffers and gradually accepts the fact. For the religious mother, it is really hard to get through. At the end of the film, it shows that Bobby’s suicide results from the pressure of society and his mother’s uncomprehending. In the meantime, the mother is a victim to education and religion.

The story describes the encounter between a farm boy and a cowboy.  They meet each other in the Brokeback Mountain, the State of Wyoming, in the summer of 1963.
They love each other even under the pressure of gossips. They have no choice but to subject themselves to conservative environment. Still, they establish long-standing love. In 20 years, they meet, separate, and get married respectively. This story is so impressive that it lives on and on.
