Mrs. Lucyfa
Interviewee: Lucyfa (As a homosexual)

The interviewee’s background: She got married to the same sex lover in front of Tung-Hai Church.  Although the wedding is not legal, their love does inspire and touch every witness.
What do you think about the differences between homosexual and heterosexual as a homosexual? (Except for attitudes toward sex)
I don't think I am different from anyone else.  I identify with my own sex and my sexuality.
What kind of the help do you hope that the government can give?
Marriage equity.  Legalize the gay marriage.  Everyone has his or   her own choice about marriage.
Do you think homosexuals can get married legally? Why?
Certainly!

In terms of the-above mentioned things.
Do you have a lot of homosexual friends in your life?
Of course! There are a lot of them out there.
As a homosexual, what has impressed you the most?
No. Because I have never cared about how people think of me. I can't control what they think or do.
When did you find out that you are a homosexual?
In second grade.
When did you tell your families and friends about your sexual orientation?
At the age of 18.
Do you encourage other homosexuals to express themselves? Why?
Of course.
It’s because that we aren’t different from others.
Do you think homosexuals were born into extraordinary environment or background?
It is not related to family.
Maybe it’s genetic or environmental. So what?
Do you agree with same-sex marriage? Why?
I agree with the marriage equal rights.
But I remain conservative to the companion law.
What do you think about the people who are opposed to the same-sex marriage?
Mind their business!
What do you think about how to help homosexuals through legislation?
In addition to the marriage equal rights, I don’t think homosexuals are different from anyone else.
Do you think that religion has an effect on a person’s attitude about homosexuality? Why?
Christians and Catholics are plainly unfriendly to homosexuals.
The elder generation is conservative and stubborn.
What is your feelings and attitudes when you face people who support you or not?
I welcome people who support me, and I can’t control the feelings of those who are against me.
What is the reason that you decided to get married with your better half?
It's all because of love, because of meeting the right person, and because that we want to be partner for life.
Do you want to adopt a child together with your partner in the future?
No, because I don’t want to have a child.
How would you educate your children, if you had one?
It won’t happen because I don’t want to have a child.
How would you encourage a homosexual who can’t face his or her sex aptitude?
What I want to say is “Why don't you be true to yourself?” If you can’t identify yourself, how would anyone else do that to you? In fact, you are not different from anyone else. If you care about what others may say, you lose yourself. You cannot please everyone, so why bother?
