Q1: The Founding of Fangciao School was established in 1908. What we are interested in is that the time was in Japanese Ruling Period, and the name of the Japanese was wiped off. We want to ask your opinion of whether this monument belongs to Taiwan or Japan?

A1: History keeps going. If you just look at this monument in the political point of view, it is hard to get the meaning of this monument. You can search on the website of Council of Culture Affairs, which is the highest authority in culture affairs. On the website, the value on the Founding of Fangciao School Monument is positive. I have a book, “The Calligraphy Art of Founding of Fangciao School Monument,” to share with you. If you look at the monument from the art point of view, you will have different findings.

Q2: We don’t know how to get the historical material. Can you please instruct us?

A2: You can take reference from this book “The Pictures of Fangciao.” This book described Banchiao City according to its streets, historical sites, and industries. This is a good reference.

Q3: Our research subject is “move”. Besides the expanding of the learning area, do you see any other move regarding history or culture?

A3: Back to the first question, politics and history have close relationships. History and culture keep developing. We should look at history with more open mind. As to the moving that you mentioned, I want to suggest you can draw a map of the moving and decorate with some cute pictures. This will attract the readers.

Q4: The Founding of Fangciao School Monument has more artistic but hard to be close after renovation. What is your opinion?

A4: I haven’t visited The Founding of Fangciao School Monument after the renovation. I will find some time to take a look at the modern art architecture.

Q5: Can you give us some advice regarding expanding the learning area?

A5: Your idea is to see the expansion of the education area through this matter. You can also think whether you can broaden your vision and pursue all kinds of knowledge outside Banchiao or Taiwan.
