　Parts of Daguan Charity School are still kept today, and the Founding of Fangciao School Monument is kept inside Banchiao elementary School.

　After all these years, the monument stands through sun exposure and rainfall. The writing is fading. The school building structure was not stabilized and reconstructed since 2009. The renovated Founding of Fangciao School Monument was beautified with tempered glass wall, which is very artistic. The glass embedded the stone writings. The introduction on the new plate and the old plate on the Founding of Fanciao School Monument reflect each other! It becomes an interesting combination of ancient and modern.

　The Confucius Temple inside the charity school still keeps the ancient taste. Whenever the examination season comes, wish cards are placed inside the temple, which is very creative. The test takers write down their wishes sincerely and place it on the column, hoping to get into a decent school.

　Although the historical site in the old city is “old”, but it shows administration creativity. In the era of the Internet, many bloggers come to Banchiao old city to get a closer look and took the photos as the record and reflection.

　The value of the attraction makes the historical site closer for people.
