 The Fish for the Poor

Wuguo fish are not picky about what they eat. If we use the type of extensive operation to raise, the cost is very low and the feeding technique is not difficult. So, Wuguo fish can provide the common people a cheap source of protein.
With the memory of the old days, Uncle Chen told us the story about the takeoff of Taiwan's economy and the market of Wuguo fish. At that time, many people moved into big cities, and only the consumption of Pan Taipei area could reach a high record of 200 tons per day. Therefore, the economy of fishing villages grew rapidly and well improved. But, more and more citizens changed their dietary habits after Taiwan's economy took off. As people became much more wealthy, they sought refinement and healthfulness in what they ate. The traditional Wuguo fish already could not satisfy the demand of customers. The soft flesh and the muddy taste were especially serious flaws.
