Q & A

About personal career

  • Q:
Do you think that studying mechanical wood modeling in the vocational school-or nurse training in college is helpful to you now? If so, in what ways?

    A:
Maybe the technology I learned in school has nothing to do with me now, but it is quite helpful to my personality Because when I was studying in the vocational school, there were only 2 girls in the class, so I was trained to have a strong personality. I would not become weak just because I was a girl, but there was nothing I dared not to do or couldn't do.
Studying in the nursing department in college gave me the ability to adapt to both medical knowledge and emergency situations

Maybe now you've learned a lot, it doesn't seem to be of much use, but it will help your personality  or your ability to deal with things, but it may take a few years before you can fully appreciate it
  • Q:
When you left your hometown for the first time, did you feel confused about the outside world?

    A:
Because I am the eldest sister in the family, my parents are very strict. On the contrary, my brother is very free, which sometimes makes me feel unfair, so I am looking forward to life after leaving home. But the 2 years I just came back, I was lost and didn't know what to do. I think running this store now is a process of finding myself.
  • Q:
What do your family think about creating your own business?

    A:
Because my family is worried about the future development of this job, they neither support nor oppose me  now. But they didn't want me to continue working in the hospital, so I expected to do well and be recognized by my family.
  • Q:
What are the difficulties and sense of achievement in starting your own business?
    A:
I want to make the store more perfect, but after all, I am now starting my own business, and no one can discuss it with me. Every time I make a choice, it always makes me feel confused.

Everything I do in the store so far is my favorite, whether it's desserts, tea, or the crafting events I host. Let everyone taste my dessert and get a lot of happiness is my greatest sense of accomplishment.

About dessert works

  • Q:
What is the store's signature dessert?
    A:
I feel that what I like to eat is the most important thing. Currently, the signature dessert in the store is oolong tea and raw cheese. Grinding oolong tea into fine powder and sprinkled it on the dessert is unexpectedly delicious, so it has become the signature creative dessert in the store.
  • Q:
What are your thoughts on the decor of the store?
    A:
In fact, I like the simple style myself. When I first entered the store, I felt a headache about how to decorate it. Finally, I found that it is necessary to integrate the old and new things from the perspective of whether it is suitable for the space of this old house.

About Lukang and Hexing Youth Innovation Base

  • Q:
What are your memories of Lukang? What are your thoughts on the future development of Lukang?
    A:
For me, Lukang is a memory of my hometown. I look forward to more young people coming back to Lukang to use the space here to collide with more different sparks.
  • Q:
What is your opinion on Hexing Youth Innovation Base?
    A:
Here gives us a good space for experimentation. Although the 9 stores come from different industries, we are young people who have just started a business at the same stage and under the same conditions. We always communicate with each other and give each other encouragement and advice.
  • Q:
What are your goals and expectations for “Su’s Place”?
    A:
I hope this store is not just a place for desserts or coffee and tea, I hope to add more elements, such as environmental protection, traditional cultural heritage, etc. I hope that people with different ideas can come to this space , to create a different Lukang together.
