Hexing Police Station
The "Hexing Police Station" was first established in 1907 during the Japanese rule
as the "Hexing Police Officers' Station",
and the Hexing Police Officers Station was moved to its current location at the latest in 1929.

When Emperor Taisho passed away in 1926, the Hexing police station hung the flag during the national mourning
After the rule of the Republic of China, the administrative system was changed in 1950, so it was called "Changhua County Police Department Lukang Branch Hexing Police Station".
Hexing Police Station was registered as a historic building in 2018.
However, it is still used by the police of Hexing Police Station until now,
and it has become an old police station that has been
with the community for hundreds of years!
Historic building registration reason
It is the "Hexing Police Officers' Station" established during the Japanese rule. The buildings seen so far are mainly the results of the addition of the façade of the arcade in 1936.
Hexing Police Station is on Lugang Street (Zhongshan Road), the only remaining building of the government office during the Japanese rule.

Appearance features
Lukang Hexing Police Station is located at No. 108, Zhongshan Road, Lukang Town. There is an alley between it and the house on the north side, leading to the dormitory area at the rear, passing the famous scenic spot "Urn Wall".
In 1936, the police station added the front and second floor of the arcade to cooperate with the demolition of Lukang's "No-seeing sky Street" (Zhongshan Road). The side exterior walls are painted with blue and white paint, and a separate air-conditioning outdoor unit is attached to the wall.
