Dance Competition
Every
summer, information of ¡§Metro Street Dance Competition¡¨ are
spotted on the train carriages or at the stations. In
addition to offering high reward to attract dance lovers,
the organizers also invite renowned artists as spokespersons
or performers in the festival. We surely do not want to miss
such an exciting event. We searched for the news and reports
about the Metro Street Dance Festival on the Internet and
then we discussed the people and the questions we were going
to interview during visiting. We also contacted the staff
from Taipei Metro, hoping they could share some of their
experience with us. The following is our interview on-site.

Although we have been a commentator and interviewed my
schoolmates before, we are still nervous and excited about
our first-time off-campus interview. The first interviewee
is the planner of this event, Mr. Huang from Taipei Metro.
Since the competition is about the start and Mr. Huang is
very busy with all the event, we need to arrive half an hour
earlier than the interview time. Thanks to the help of the
teachers and the teammates, the interview has been
successfully completed and we got a better understanding of
the whole preparation of the entire competition.
How the contestants feel and prepare for the competition is
also our focus in the interview. From them, we realized that
¡§Where there is will, there is way.¡¨ Dancing is not only about
beats, tempos and practice, being confident and cooperating
with partners are also the key points. We are very impressed
with the competitors¡¦ hard work and enthusiasm. Many
professional dancers also participated in the competition
and their performance made the competition more watchable.
The costumes of the Yilan Taiya Sisters Team really
impressed us. Their clothing made the dancers young and
energetic.
At last, we asked several foreigners about
their feeling about Taipei Metro and the Street Dance
Competition. They all have satisfying experience and hoped
the metro system in their country can be as good as Taipei
Metro.
We¡¦ve learned a lot from this interview. As long as we try
our best and work hard, we ourselves will improve a lot. The
whole process will become an unforgettable experience in our
life no matter what outcome it may be. Every dancer is
extraordinary and their hard work is worth our respect.
