King Wen Temple
The origin of King Wen Temple
There was a small temple worshiping King of Xilu since the very first immigrants moved in. Behind the temple were three giant rocks. And there were only an incense burner but no statue of the god in the temple. There was a giant rock on the left side of the temple. It looked like an old man in white gown. In 1950s, the army teared down the small temple. After that, they experienced many odd things and difficulties. So they rebuilt a larger temple for King Xilu.
One night, a villager called Chen, Hao-Guan saw the King in his dream. He told Chen and the villagers to call him King Wen, and make two altars for his two generals, General Liu and General Zhang.
