Kunqiu King Zhao Temple

There was a flood happened in Fujian in 1949, a wooden statue of god floated to Kunqiu port. It stayed on the beach then villagers put it on a stone and called it "Kunqiu King" respectfully. At the moment they put it on the stone, there was a red water snake coming out from the nostril of the statue and disappeared immediately. People said it was the messenger of the god, and the patron saint of Kunqiu. In 1962, people dreamed that Kunqiu King wants to change his name as "King Zhao(趙大王)", so they built a new temple and writes "King Zhao of Kunqiu" on the temple.
