1892～1969 From Fujian Province to Tainan

Kaiser Pharmaceutical Co.(KPC) traces its roots back five generations. The founder of Kaiser Pharmaceutical, Tsai Liang-Hai, first landed in Taiwan in 1892. When he arrived in Taiwan, he opened a small herb shop with a simple goal in mind. Mr. Tsai wanted to provide the highest quality of herbs serving the people located there. With Mr. Tsai’s sincere dedication, he unknowingly planted the seed for Kaiser Pharmaceutical. Kaiser Pharmaceutical’s early factory was founded in Jen-Te where it sold traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). As the business grew and the reputation built over the years, KP started its GMP factory in Yung-Kan Industrial Park in 1984. 1、What is the company about KPC?

Despite what it may sound like in Chinese, Kaiser Pharmaceutical Co.(KPC)  was established in 1995 in the United States in order to promote and advocate the use of Chinese herbs worldwide, and not founded in Hong Kong, even though it sounds deceptively similar to that in Chinese.

KPC is committed to spreading the traditions of Chinese herbs through education, innovation, and, most importantly, insistence on maintaining the highest herbal quality standards. KPC, thus, only distributes Kaiser Pharmaceutical’s herbal products because KPC is the leader in the traditional Chinese medicine industry in producing the highest quality of herbal products.

2、what is this? how to use？

It is a tradition tool to cut Panax ginsengl, which looks like wood color appearance, in fact, is a stone. Because if we use iron to cut ginseng, a traditional ancient taboo : ginseng contact to iron, copper, aluminum and other metal utensils, the high temperature ginseng hit iron will produce a chemical reaction, so that may drop of efficacy, or even side effects of pharmaceutical drugs.

3、What is the use of the wet rag？

Stewing usually in traditional Chinese medicine, always put a wet cloth on top of the pottery with lessen long boil in water vapor loss. For example, Salvia officinalis, there were the volatile constituents of medicinal materials, boiling time should not be too long.Panax ginsengl, antler, ginseng and other tonic drugs , to be placed in a container and a small fire slowly stew boil a long time.

Ophiocordyceps sinensis is a fungus that parasitizes larvae of ghost moths and produces a fruiting body valued as an herbal remedy found in mountainous regions of India, Nepal and Tibet. Caterpillar fungus / Cordyceps regarded as animals, rather than plants.
