A lot of people think Nanke is just a plain science park with only factories; little do they know that the science park includes museums, conservation parks, and history. Before visiting the place, we, like other people, thought Nanke is just another factory-based area with pollution; however, after visiting the area, we fell in love with the place, and we hope you would as well.

Option I

First stop:    the park train station (take the first train to Tainan Science Park) 09:22 Nanke north-ring bus.

Second stop:    bus to reach Yingxi Lake, then walk about 700 meters KPC Products Inc - green health knowledge Museum is located in Tainan City Tainan way. You can travel reservation Pandan 10: 00-11: 30

Third stop:    11:54 Yingxi Lake take the Nanke north-ring bus, 11:59 to PARK17 meal breaks and then you can go to the Authority to visit the Public Art (Blackie)

Fourth Station:    You can make an appointment 13: 00-14: 00 Visit the archaeological gallery (located PARK17 Business Building 2F)

Attractions

Nanke Train-Station                         

Nanke Train-Station is the first station sponsored by the state government due to the fact that the train station was the main transportation for the Taiwan Lantern Festival in 2008. After these years, the train station still looks new. With its sky bridge used in Xilaya Blvd, it connects both platform from each side, and with the solar panel on the ceiling, it provides the electricity the train station uses.

Having its emphasis on “internationality”, “technology”, “creativity” and “culture diversity”, National Nanke International Experimental High School has recruited teachers from outside the country forming the Bilingual department. Other than that, the campus also has the technology for research papers, the court to master tennis skills, and more….

Kaiser Pharmaceutical Co.(KPC)-Formula Concept

is a factory that makes traditional Chinese medicines. With the combination of “science”, “creativity”, and “fashion”, they have prolonged the existence of the traditional medicines that we once used.

Yingxi Lake

With bridges and sidewalks along the river and the trees, Yingxi Lake is a convenient place for everyone to exercise no matter the age or time! Yingxi Lake Not only provides rest stops but also homes for wild birds and insects, just like an ecological park.

Archaeology exhibition hall

The full name of Archaeology exhibition hall is National Museum of Prehistory at Tainan Science Park. The main reason this historical museum was built was because the documents found in Nanke should stay where it is so people could acknowledge the process of discovering these documents.

Open: 8:00 ~ 11:30 and 13:00 ~ 16:30 daily. (Except for Chinese new year holidays.)

Ticket : Free group visit: less than 30 people

Jimmy Parks

Jimmy Park is located in Tainan science park, in front of TSMC Lakeside Jascha , surrounded by TSMC factories, dormitories and softball fields, a few meters cooperation with TSMC to build a park.
