Benefit Concert

HanGuang Vocal Band sees ‘social welfare’ as its own responsibility. We seek to create excellent values in musical arts. We participate in many charity events, and we hope to bring warmth and hope to those who need them through our music.

【Corporation / Socially Responsible Corporation】(by Director Chu)

Businesses exist to make a profit, like 7-11 or other business entities, and they are called for-profit organizations. HanGuang Education Foundation and schools are non-for-profit organizations, where making money isn’t our goal. We aim to improve social welfare with the money that we make and do things that are in the best interest of the society.

Socially Responsible Corporation is a bridge between for-profit and non-for-profit entities. For example, HanGuang Vocal Band charges a fee for performing in different venues. However, after all related costs are deducted, the remaining profit will go towards social welfare, helping the needies, or promoting other social events.

With these five easy steps, one can easily achieve ‘One Minute of Quietness’ and experience the notion of ‘Peace of Mind, Peace of the World.’ HanGuang Vocal Band, along with pop singers Rainie Yang, and Ricky Xiao, participated in Ling Jiou Mountain’s Thirtieth Annum Appreciation Night and joined ‘Silent Exercise.’ We hope to get more young people involved and help them to acquire the ability to maintain peace of mind even under stressful circumstances.
