Ammonia
toxicity is related closely with the pH and temperature
of water.In general, when pH and the the temperature of
water is higher, the stronger the toxicity. Its hazards
to fish is just like nitrite. In Taiwan, we use
rpi(River Pollution Index) as river polluttion index.
It's composed of four testing elements: DO, BOD5, NH3-N
and Suspendid Solids. |
