Dressing Up

The first thing we did when we visited the central kitchen was to dress up all the accoutrements from head to feet. We wore the hats that covered our hair and mask, working cloth, and working boots to cover our bodies. Mr. Ke, who is the secondary factory director, mentioned to us that the hat must cover our hair and ears. The same thing, the mask couldn’t only cover your mouth. It should also cover your nose. Because of these two things the entire face is covered except the eyes.

Next, we go into the “cleaning room.” The strong filtered wind blew at us about 15 seconds. It is for blowing away the dust on our bodies.

Then, we washed and sterilized our hands. Even this seemed to be an easy thing, it still had a standard procedure. “Take, rub, rinse, dry, spurt.” You “take” some foam cleanser. “Rub” about 10~20 seconds in your palm, the back of the hand, the middle part between your fingers, and finger nails or other parts on your hands. Next, use water to “rinse” your hands. Then “dry” your hands by using the drying apparatus. Last, “spurt” some edible ethanol on your hands and you are ready to enter in the central kitchen.

Mr. Ke had told us that the staffs also need to be checked by the boss.
