Company Structures

      “We maintain the quality of the food and service with all our lives,” and “We are responsible for protecting the reputation of the restaurant,” are the core value of Din Tai Fung. The organization structure, different from other companies, is briefly introduced in the following paragraphs.

Quality Control and Food Safety Department

       People usually don’t pay attention to the quality control and food safety issues. However, these should be the basic concerns of a high quality restaurant. Din Tai Fung has two individual departments to monitor quality control and food safety because Din Tai Fung takes these two issues seriously.

Production Department

      All the Production Departments were located in the central kitchen in Chung Ho. The warehouse and Distribution Department are two of the most important departments in the central kitchen. To ensure the freshness and safety of the ingredients, Din Tai Fung has its own low-temperature transportation to obtain the ingredients from the suppliers.

Eight Branch Restaurants

      There are eight branch restaurants in Taiwan. Besides Hsinchu and Taichung, other restaurants are located in Taipei city.

Management Department

       The “LOHOS Consulting Room” is a special service for the staffs in the Management Department. The room is designed to help employees to release their stresses. Din Tai Fung takes good care of its employees and is willing to offer extra benefits to them as well.
