The Xindian River floodplain has been transformed from a humble wasteland into a lush green paradise. This is all thanks to the hard working volunteers from the Yung Ho Community University. Now let's have a look at how the park has changed over the last 8 years.
2002

Originally abandon, the forgotten river floodplain was under the hard work of the
Yung Ho Community University volunteers changed from a wasteland into a green paradise. |

2005
A new site –Yung Ho Community University Eco-park

The volunteers were disappointed to lose the original site, but they rose like a phoenix from the ashes to create the new eco-park next to the Fuhe Bridge. |

2007
Rebirth after a typhoon - Yung Ho Community University Eco-park

In 2007 Typhoon Krosa made landfall and destroyed the eco-park. After the volunteers worked to rebuild the park, the area regained its old spark once more. |

2009
A lush green paradise - Yong Ho Community University Eco-park

Under the careful stewardship of the community university volunteers, the plants in the park were healthy and robust, and the city of
Yung Ho had a place to enjoy nature. |

Now the
Yung Ho Eco-park attracts large numbers of visitors including schools and the general public. Everyone's support gives the volunteers a great deal of encouragement. |
