When you arrive in Hualien you may take one of the following transportation methods:

• Walk: The distance is 1.2 kilometers from the train station to the Still Thoughts Hall. Plan to spend 16 minutes walking.

Currently you can only fly two flights: Taipei to/from Hualien, and Hualien to/from Kaoshiung. After arriving at the airport, use the methods listed to get to Still Thoughts Hall.

Hualien Main Roads
Number 9 Province Road: This road runs North and South down the island. The simple navigation of Hualien roads will make your trip simple and stress free.
Number 8 Province Road: This road runs West and East. This will allow you to travel over the central mountain ranges of Taiwan and access both coasts. The Taroko canyon is located on the Eastern most part of this road. Simply turn South once coming upon Number 9 Province Road and you will soon arrive in Hualien.
