Outside Copper Carvings
Copper Sculptures are the works of North Korean artists
It took a total of six months to design, create and install these thirteen pieces of works with the subjects of Tzu Chi’s World; kindness, mercifulness, joy and giving; charity, medical care, education and culture; marrow donation, international disaster relief, community volunteers (environmental protection) and emergency rescue. The copper features are all actual-man size rambling on the prairie. Appreciating these works one after another, you will find some familiar features presented to you vividly and kindly. Except these four pieces of kindness, mercifulness, joy and giving installed outside of Zhu-Xuan Gate, the rest of them are all displayed on the grass field outside of Still Thoughts Hall.
