Origins of Architecture
Look up at the sky in the first glimmering of the light, the day was dawning, look at the floor bricks of Kuan Yin stone on the avenue with reverence. The dewdrops of early morning, make the concourse and avenue statelier and more spotlessly white.
At the heavy traffic roadside, stately and majestic Still Thoughts Hall impressively stands erect on it. It is silent but consoled the travelers in the mundane world who wept over on the steps with tender and kind, its voiceless wording wins innumerable words.
Still Thoughts Hall’s essence of construction was a blueprint by The Abode of Still Thoughts, stately, noble and graceful, when Tzu Chi people saw it, having a “To seem to have met before” friendly feel and deep belonging feel. Its back leans against the majestic Central Mountain Range, it faces the immense Pacific Ocean; Still Thoughts Hall includes classical beauty and modern science and technology in one, it is able to stride across space –time, absolutely is a Buddhist spirit fort; an art palace hall; a building with historicity, times and constancy.
