  • Still Thoughts Hall1986 Held a ground-breaking ceremony on Aug. 17th.
  • 1987 Established the construction committee of Tzu Chi Still Thoughts Hall, selected the architectural design chart openly, Xu Chang Ji architect stood out from nine competitors by extended design of The Abode of Still Thoughts modeling.
  • 1988 Started the construction work on Apr. 23rd, but there were torrential rain and typhoons repeatedly after September, Still Thoughts Hall basement was dug 180 m width, 100 m length and 15 m depth, the rain made inroads into the project and caused a disaster, all workers rescued in the water without rest, till the end of December they passed the difficulty safely, and restored to normal.
  • 1992 Completed the structure project.
  • 1995 Completed interior design chart, presently lots of artist are invited to join the creative procession continually.
  • 1996~2000 Completed the Gandhanra installation of eaves.
  • 2001 Laid the lotus pond paint in Gratitude Chamber.
  • 2007 Changed the temporary wood door to copper door.
