Formosan moles
They are found only in Taiwan. They are with a body length of
10-13cm, and a tail of 1-2cm. They are dark grey in color with
brownish cheek and breast. They have little eyes, strong forelimbs
and powerful paws that make them good diggers. They live in caves
and have a diet of worms. They reside on the soft soil areas,
therefore, they are mostly found in the farming areas. Since they
are excellent diggers, you can find them by looking for bulging
earth that they dug.
