Farm Building Concepts

1. To provide a place for educational entertainment. To offer mushroom related knowledge to children on ecological environment basis, showing the visitors mushrooms growing environment and cultivation.
2. To offer a chance for people to participate in Food and Agriculture Education. To let children gain a personal experience to know the mushrooms that are commonly made into dishes, to learn the process from mushroom cultivation, harvest, marketing to mushroom dishes.
3. To offer a place for customers to buy and eat mushrooms. Mushroom Tribe grow fresh and delicious mushrooms for customers to purchase; the products ranging variously from fresh mushrooms to mushroom processed foods and even mushroom meals.

1.To stand out : Because the market is limited and competitive, we strive for product differentiation. Our mushrooms differ from mushrooms in other farms in taste, nutrition and kinds to increase purchase intention.
2.To Be Unique : Adopting modern and technological way of cultivation, we grow mushrooms of high nutritious value and develop new varieties of mushrooms, such as salmon mushrooms and apricot mushrooms.
3.To Create a Win-win Situation : Through developing new mushroom recipes, we prompt customers to make dishes with various kinds of mushrooms and buy other kinds of agricultural products. We inform them that eating mushrooms can maintain health.
4.To Be Unconventional : We import mushrooms from different countries, such as obalonus from Japan, for customers to eat mushrooms from other countries, raising their purchase and eating intentions.
5.To Do It Yourselves : We organize activities revolving customers’ needs; therefore, we hold DIY activities, such as One Day Mushroom Farmers, Mushroom Harvest Experience and Shiitake Bags Cultivation. Customers can participate in the process from harvesting to making mushroom dishes.

1.To Stay Healthy: Mushrooms are rich in polysaccharide, small molecule protein and natural antibacterial ingredients, which are proved by science to be good to our bodies. Consequently, mushrooms are very nutritious and are great and healthy ingredients.

Future Challenges

1.How to Introduce Mushrooms from Other Countries: we hope consumers in Taiwan can have a chance to taste mushrooms introduced from, for example, Korea, America and Japan.
