Manager Yu Introducing to Us the Classification and Sales of King Oyster Mushrooms

The production of king oyster mushrooms are classified into 4 categories –ABCD - based on their sizes. Those that are ranked D are those without caps whereas mushrooms categorized ABC have complete caps. In Class A, mushrooms weigh more than 85 grams and can be sold at the best price. In Class B, they weigh more than 75 grams. Ren He Farm does not do retail sales; instead, it sells its mushrooms to several wholesalers in collaboration. Then, the wholesalers distribute the king oyster mushrooms to malls and markets according to their classifications. Normally, mushrooms in Class C and D, because of their light weights and lower prices, are sold to group meal dealers to make lunch boxes.

Affected by the epidemic, people lessen their chances to hold a wedding feast and go out to dine, resulting in a reduction of restaurants’ need of king oyster mushrooms and further posse an impact on sales volume. Therefore, they make king oyster mushroom ready-to-eat food packets and through home delivery, customers can enjoy delicious king oyster mushrooms dishes at home.
