A. Oyster omelet

     Oyster omelet is a well-known Taiwanese snack made of fresh oyster, vegetable, egg and cornstarch gravy. In addition to oyster omelets, oyster soup and oyster satay are also very tasteful.

B. Monkey shrimp

     Monkey shrimp as known as "mantis shrimp", is unique seafood in Lukang and Taichung in central Taiwan. Regardless fried or salted monkey shrimp are quite delicious as a dish for wine.

C. Meat bun

     The fame of meat buns in Lukang started with the Ah-zhen meat bun on Zhongshan Street. Ah-zheng meat bun is known for tasteful meat and chewy skin. On holidays, tourists from different places often line up for the bun!

D. Lukang refreshments

     "Diet is only known to those descendants of the rich and powerful for more than three generations", as the saying goes, people in Lukang who are very careful with catering create the over century-old refreshments. The well-known refreshments include: ox-tongue shaped cake, green bean cake, Chinese phoenix’s eye cake, seasoned millet mush and luck cookie.

E. Pork Vermicelli

     Oyster vermicelli and pork intestines vermicelli are available across Taiwan. However, small pork chops are added to the vermicelli to develop a unique flavor in Lukang.
