Introduction
Introduction The military dependents` village can be divided in to three different forces. Air Force , army and service troops.
Air Force
The air force villages distributed in Pingtung are Chong-De New Village, Chi-En 6th Village, Chi-En 12th Village, Fu-Xing New Town, Hou-Sheng-Li Village, Da-Peng 7th Village, Ling-Yung 3rd Village, Chong-Li New Village, Chong-Dao New Village, Chong-Ren New Village, Ming-De New Village and Chong-Wu New Village.
These villages are all around the Pingtung Air Force Base, and some of them are Japanese houses left over by the Japanese army, such as Sheng-Li New Village and Xian- Guang 10th Village.

Da-Peng New Village
Da-tun river mouth in Pingtung county, Near Dong-Gang air force staff college. Construction time :1950s Composition of population :air force and its dependants.
Historical development: Da-Peng New Village belongs to the air force family village. During the 1950s , there were only four rows of houses with 10 households in each row, each of which was only about 10 square ft .
Army
The village distribution of army in Pingtung were in Xin-Guo community in Guey-Lai (1st village), Ding-Yuan (2nd village), Cheng-Gong (3rd village), Shih-Chien 8th village, Da-Tung New Village. We chose Chong-Da New village in Da-Wu-Ying as our theme because of its demolition and reconstruction, and it is available now to buy and sell , which is different from the other villages.

Chongda New Village
Location:Construction time: 1954 named after Da-Wu Town, in 1958 the town was divided into Chong-Wu village, Chong-Da Village. In July,2000 , it was demolished and completed its construction in 2005. Composition:Composition: army airforce commander and his dependants.
Historical development: At the end of the war against Japanese in 1944,the general command of China army organized the "first paratrooper regiment" in Kun-Ming, Yun-Nan Province for military needs, and later consolidated with the 207 division as the "Army Assault troop". In 1949 , the Army retreat to Taiwan, trained in Pingtungand Long-Tan base. In 1958 , the Army was assigned to move south and stationed in Pingtung Da-Wu-Ying and served for San-Ming , Hu-Pen , Xiong-Feng and other specific parachute training tasks. Military Dependents` Village for Reserve Army
Military Dependents` Village for Reserve Army are Dong-Gang MD Village , Ci-De 5th Village and Bai-Sha New Village. we chose Dong-Gang MD Village as our topic .It is different from other villages because it is a Self-funded construction.
