Air-Raid Shelter
As Sheng-Li New Village was an important place where the Japanese army was stationed, and in order to avoid the bombing by American bombers during the second world war, there were "round (arch) type" and "vertical door type" air-raid shelters in some of the more advanced architectural courtyards, and ordinary residential buildings were ordinary underground air-raid shelters.
"Circle (arch)" for the cement type shelter built into the ground, the "door" type of shelter is connected to the underground air-raid shelter, the wall thickness is more than 30 cm of cement, and at the top there is a ventilation tube for the air circulation. It is a more advanced shelter. Every four high-leveled officers share one , and it was built between the two duplex and single-building courtyard, trying to avoid bombing.
