Regulations

According to the "regulations on reconstruction of old villages", the investigation, and restoration for Sheng-Li New Village started from 2008, following several guidelines to complete the construction of the whole park step by step, and gradually revealed its own style after about six years.

Rennovation by stages

The rennovation concept of Sheng-Li New village is based on the use behavior mode of the surrounding environment. The old buildings are built by stages, and the mode of outsourcing business is gradually adopted to attract investment, introduce cultural industry, improve the artistic and cultural atmosphere, and promote the local prosperity.

In the initial stage, the main task is to restore the damaged buildings and improve the landscape of the park, so as to revitalize the park.

After that, it gradually promoted hardware and software operation, promoted the strategy of environment reconditioning, industrial development and marketing, constructed sufficient park facilities and cultural industry introduction mechanism, invigorated economy, and enhanced cultural consumption power.

Example One

The General`s House

No. 106 , Qing-Dao street used to be the residence of the principal's of the army officers' school, and then the building of Japanese Chong-Lan Army officers' house, which has memorial significance and can be used as a historical and cultural exhibition hall. It is now named "General's house".

There are many military architectural elements in the village, which can be used to highlight military facilities such as underground ammunition depot and bomb shelters. In the early period, there was a shortage of materials. Some of the discarded or unused auxiliary fuel tanks were used as water tanks for water towers by households . This scene is a special landscape of villages as soon as possible, symbolizing the spirit of diligence and thrift. At present, next to the General's house, there is an installation with the aircraft oiltank as the visual landscape.

Li-Zen Hall:Military theme Restaurant

Lizhen hall is located at No. 6 Kang-Ding street (Sheng-Li New village cultural district, Pingtung), and the building is the official residence left over from the Japanese occupation. Located in the famous scenic spot circle of Pingtung, the nearby street scenery is beautiful, which is very suitable for strolling.

White exterior wall, the deep green door frame, the red bricks that reveals thick vintage atmosphere. There are also gray and blue military hats and uniforms for customers to dress up themselves .
