Today, the teacher explained the relevant matters of the CyberFair to us, like the project research methods, the meeting time, the precautions, etc. Director Shi also took time to give us support and encouragement. The first activity was a self-introduction. After getting to know each other, the teacher required us all to think of a theme for this year's project research, and to draw a draft of a mind map after school. We hope that we can find a suitable topic.

Today was the second meeting after the topic selection. The teacher taught us how to draw the mind map, explained the timetable, and researched projects of the CyberFair. There was a deadline of the CyberFair project, so we must quicken our pace to complete our own work. We discussed which topic was suitable for the project, and everyone discussed it enthusiastically. The teacher's guidance let us know how to draw the mind map, so I look forward to the next meeting.

After discussing enthusiastically, we decided to present “Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corps (TRMPC)" as the project. In order to know more about the TRMPC, we watched the video about the founder of the TRMPC, Dr. Chi-Chun Liu, and the introduction about the free medical service of the annual clinic. After watching the video, I deeply understood the free medical service of the TRMPC. Finally, Teacher Hong explained the agenda of the meeting for visiting the founder of TRMPC and told everyone the matters that we should pay attention to.

Today, the teacher asked us to discuss our topic and the name of our team. After brainstorms and enthusiastic discussions, we came up with many topics, such as: "Love without borders ~ TRMPC”; “Embrace the Earth ~ TRMPC”; “Love on the road, dream in the former ~ TRMPC” ... and so on." The teacher said that the next time on October 16th, we must vote to determine the topic and name. I hope my topic can be selected!

Today, we had to determine the topic and the team name by voting. After voting, we determined the topic was “Boundless Love, Taiwan Root. ~ TRMPC”. Although the topic I provided was not selected, I was still happy. We had not yet selected the name of the team. The teacher asked us to discuss the team name. Everyone started discussing enthusiastically. Some teammates already provided several team names. We had not voted yet, but we would determine the team name next time.

After several meetings, the work log had been written several times, but there were still some students who couldn't write it well. Today, the teacher explained the precautions for writing and modifying the work log. We needed to pay attention to the application of typos and statements, so that the sentences in the log could be smoother. Next, we were discussing several questions for interviewing when we visited the TRMPC. The teacher used the remaining time of the meeting to tell us the time of the next meeting and asked us to be prepared in all aspects.

Today, we mainly discussed the structure of the project website. In addition to the special briefing page, the content of the webpage was divided into exploration and origin, love without borders, various reports from media, future and prospects (project plan), etc. Firstly, we collected and organized the data from the Internet. Wei-Cheng Chen、Yuen-Yu Yang and I are responsible for the various reports. We have to work hard on it!

According to the assigned group last meeting, the duty of my group was collecting the data from various media reports. The media reports were divided into three categories. My group was responsible for the reports from TV media (TV or network).
In order to visit the TRMPC on November 16th, we had to complete the discussion about the raising of questions when interviewing Dr. Chi-Chun Liu. I offered seven questions, some of which were found online, and some of which were discussed with my teammates and family. Preparing the interview wasn’t easy. Although I was a little bit nervous about this interview, I was still looking forward to visiting the TRMPC.

Today, the teacher asked us to continue collecting and sorting out the information. I have finished the report on the Internet. Because there was so much text, the teacher asked me to cut some text to make the content more streamlined. Then, the teacher asked us to assign interview questions by ourselves. The teacher reminded us that we should read and recite interview questions after school, or we would stutter while visiting!

On November 16th, we will visit the TRMPC. We started to rehearse the interview. We practiced how to greet the interviewees, the details to be paid attention to while interviewing, and so on. Teacher Yen played Dr. Chi-Chun Liu. We started the rehearsal. Some students performed very well, but there were still some shortcomings. The teacher reminded us at our manners. While visiting, we should keep eye contact with Dr. Liu, the volume of the interview should be appropriate, and to make no noise while visiting. After the rehearsal, I realized that there were many details we should be paying attention to while visiting.

In three days, we will visit the TRMPC. We continued to rehearse for the visit. Although Teacher Yen wasn’t here today, we kept to practicing seriously under the guidance of Teacher Hung and Teacher Lee. The teammates who needed to revise the working log had to work harder or they would be behind schedule!

Tomorrow, we will visit the TRMPC. Everyone kept working on the rehearsal. Teachers continually reminded us of the precautions, including: courtesy, moderate volume, and more. The important things are being punctual, dressing neatly, not forgetting the items that should be carried, and the points to be noted during the interview.

Today is the day we’re visiting Dr. Chi-Chun Liu, the founder of the TRMPC. We went there by school bus. Because Director Shi and the founder Dr. Liu are friends who have known each other for many years, Director Shi specially took us to visit and interview. First, we visited Dr. Chi-Chun Liu. Dr. Liu looked like a serious person at first glance, but during the interview, we found that Dr. Liu was actually a warm person! After the interview, Secretary Liao took us on a tour and introduced the preparations taken before the clinic operates. We also watched a video introducing the TRMPC. Today was a special experience!

Today we had to sort out the audio files after the interview, turn the interviews of Dr. Chi-Chun Liu into text files, and complete the experience report and thought feelings after the visit. The teacher wanted us to modify the place where the writing part was not fluent, and reduce the number of words in the report. It was really not easy to write. In addition, our teachers asked us to organize the data of the interview in order to make it easier for us to organize the entire data set.

After the visit, we have to handle several issues such as sorting out the verbal draft of the interview recording file, writing reflections of the interview, completing the work log, and organizing the content of the webpage one after another. There are a lot of things to do. I have completed my reflection part! My group is starting to work on the reports. However, there are a lot of words, so the reports need refining.

Today, we had to sort out the reports of the TRMPC interview. Because some of our teammates’ writings were so simple, they had to revise their reports. Fortunately, I had completed my report on Sunday. In fact, it was not easy to write the short report.

Today's main task was to complete the reports. I had completed it all at last meeting, and then I had to complete the reports of the interview. I had not revised all of the texts of interview, but was almost done. The working logs were also done already. However, the content of the web pages had not been completed yet, and data had not been sorted out, too. The teacher reminded us that there was not much time left, so we had to complete our tasks as soon as possible!

Today we discussed the promotion activities at the end of the semester in order to tell the school students this year’s theme “Boundless Love, Taiwan Root ~ TRMPC”. After the discussion, we decided that the activity is a “walk-in” classroom event to share our project. We have to walk into the class and explain our CyberFair project to every student. So we started designing how to present and share. The job I was assigned was to introduce Dr. Chi-Chun Liu, the founder of the TRMPC. The teachers reminded us that the work log still has typos and the sentences are not fluent. If the revised verbal manuscript has not been completed, we have to complete it as soon as possible.

Today, we had to complete the visit reflections and working logs, deciding which parts were crucial for the report and make it into a briefing file. The next step was to discuss the lectures we had to share in class. I was assigned the theme of the worldwide vision. The content themed "Look Beyond" was easy to prepare, so I completed it quickly. Today, everyone was working hard and serious to complete their assignments and they were looking forward to the next meeting.

Today, the work we had to do was to produce the reports about the final project presentation. Everyone was assigned two pages of content. According to our assignments, we had to write about the lectures accompanied by photos for the final presentation, and then we had to modify our working logs too.
I learned how to make the presentation better in today’s meeting. As my assignment is about the theme, I had the chance to listen to other teammates’ opinions and feelings. This information gave me knowledge about everyone's efforts and hard work. It was not an easy task to complete the CyberFair project without working together.

Today, we had to complete the briefing and the script. We also had to complete the working logs. I hadn't finished either of them yet, so I decided to do the briefing first. I didn't have any clue about how to write the briefing, so first I had to do some research and then sort it out. I finally finished the challenging part about the TRMPC. The photos of floods in Sri Lanka were very scary. I chose those photos on the briefing. It was a challenge to offer the free medical services, but the TRMPC still took on the challenge and conquered the problems it faced. Therefore, I admire the people who work at the TRMPC very much.

The time is getting closer and closer to the “walk-in” classroom activity. Everyone is racking their brains to design their briefings. My responsibility is to write about fulfilling the values and spirit. The previous computer class taught us how to design a briefing and how to use PowerPoint software to present the information. I also discussed with my mother at home. Therefore, I quickly handed in the briefing. Next, I had to consider how to present the lectures on the stage during the “walk-in” classroom activity.

Today, the teachers told us when we will be holding the “walk-in” classroom presentation, which will be at of the end-of-term, and they also asked us to complete the briefings and lectures as soon as possible. Because the time is essential, we must use the time wisely to complete the issues we haven’t finished. In addition, we also need to keep rehearsing and work hard on the presentation in order to present the best in the “walk-in” presentation. We hope that our presentation will go well at the end-of-term.

Today, the teachers set up a projector to simulate the “walk-in” classroom event. We followed a procedure to rehearse. After everyone got on stage, the teachers offered some comments about advantages and disadvantages of what to do and what not to do. One of our teammates, Chia-Hsuan Wu, had a great presentation. He talked clearly, his speaking pace was moderate, and he had memorized the script by heart. We should learn those good aspects from Wu’s performance; however, some of our teammates still need to work hard and rehearse more.

In the past few days, all teammates of the CyberFair have been racking their brains out to write the reflections about the "walk-in" classroom event, the medical action, and our overall reflections in order to record what we had learned during this time! We had to complete the unfinished working logs. For the next phase, we need to aggregate all the information into a website. We have to organize everything in the inspection, and we will still need to start designing the webpage during winter vacation! I hope that we can complete the reflections before Thursday, so the progress of designing the webpage will go smoothly. Some teammates haven't finished yet, so they have to work harder!

Finally, winter vacation is coming. Some teammates couldn't come to school every day during vacation, so we had to start making the webpage first. We had to pick the photos, and then sort them out according to the structure of the webpage. Through discussion with my teammates and the advice of our teachers, we made the layout of the webpage accordingly. We used the PhotoImpactX3 software to design them.

In three days, we had to complete the entire webpage. We were not skillful in using the Dreamweaver software to edit the webpage, so we still needed to work on it. The teachers were busy during winter vacation; however, they still gave us help when we needed it. We were becoming more and more skilled! I hope that through teamwork and cooperation, we can complete the website this week!
