Taiwan's bicycle industry is famous around the world, especially the GIANT which has the biggest output value bicycle company. It earns 15 billion NT dollars and produces 4.8 million bikes every year. Therefore, GIANT becomes highest bicycle output company and was honored as the "World's bicycle kingdom". Cycling Life-Style Foundation set up in 1989 was the first to carry out the biking fashion; Taiwan Cyclist Federation set up in 1999 is also pursuing it. It shows that the bicycle industry development and the foundation effort surely affect the fashion of biking.

The national bike lane system managed by Sports administration in ministry of education set the bicycle lane to associate the districts and make the bicycle lane system better.
