Since Youbike gets more and more popular in Taipei City, you can see people riding Youbike and shuttle between crowds in a busy pace. They look pleased and at ease. The bright body of the bicycle, which is colored in yellowish orange, turns into a beautiful curve in people's eye—that is the curve of a "smile".
Being busy students, we look forward to riding on a Youbike leisurely in the city for one day, just like those bike riders captured on the TV news, smiling happily. Therefore, in order to spread these happy elements to the public, we decided to design exclusive Youbike routes for everyone to slow down their pace and feel how Youbike changes the life of the citizens.
But we also saw many Youbike malpractices on the news, including Youbikes being stolen or destroyed, a dirty Youbike be found in the mountains, or people rent Youbike over and over again to avoid paying. So, to preserve the positive and happy image of Youbike, we also decided to look into these problems deeply.
