“Please Take me home!” Changhua county government launches the campaign, “Adopt. Don’t Buy.” The first lovable adoptive car shows up in public today. The county magistrate quotes from Indian spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi to encourage people to give stray animals a warm home, “how great a country or a society will be is up to how their people treat animals.”
The adoptive car is put into formal use by Taiwan Agricultural Exhibition from June 14 to July 6.To match up the activity of the adoptive car, the county government also budgets the activity “Adopt and get dowry!” If you adopt animals from Changhua stray dogs’ shelter, you will be given something valued more than NT$ 2500 as a present. This present contains eight-in-one vaccination, Rabies vaccination, pet microchip registration, a tow rope, pet detergent, dogs’ can food and so on.
