What is ''Grandriders''?
Hondao senior citizen's welfare foundation held a activity is called ''Go! Grandriders'' in 2007.
The amount of 17 elder is in this activity altogether.in these 81 years old elder in average, two of them used to suffer cancer, four of them have to wear hearing-aid, five of them have hypertension,8 of them have heart disease and everyone has osteoarthritis, But. Even though they all used to suffer illness, they take action to prove no matter how old you are you still have the power and ability to make the dream come true .
This activity is not a regular tour around the island, it's a dream path.The leader Lai Cing Yan have said ''you will forget how old you are, when you are chasing your dream.
Purpose：
To change the traditional ideas that most people consider that the elder is useless and create a LOHAS aging population society.
To exploit the ''Go!Grandriders'' activity, elevating the viewpoint and attitudes of society think about the elder.
To encourage the elder make their dreams come true.
Grandriders influence:
In 2008, the whirlwind of Grandriders short documentary hit Taiwan, 143 inspiring national sharing tours of Grandriders short documentary were held.
In 2010, the then president of Taiwan, Ma Ying-Jeou, met with the creators of Grandriders short documentary, affirming their contribution to the elderly society
In 2012, Grandriders documentary was shown in cinema all over Taiwan and broke the box office record of the best documentary (NT $ 30 million).
Awarded Ten Recommended Chinese Films in 2012 by Hongkong Film Critics Association on January 31, 2013

In mid August, 2013, ten grandriders with an average age of 87 completed a 700 km journey from San Francisco to Los Angeles accompanied by American riders averaged 55 years old. They visited 7 silver hair groups and shared their grand spirits with 350 American senior citizens. This miraculous journey showed the influence of grand spirit again to the world.
