The reason of CING-TONG grandpa participated
in this activity is he wants to honor his promise to his wife.
CING-TONG grandpa used to give his wife a ride,
and he promised his wife he will around the whole Taiwan with her.
However, his wife died in three years.
consequently,He puts his wife's picture on
the top of the motorcycle to honor his promise

HUANG,CAI Seventy-nine years old
Grandpa is a worker. All large building in Taiwan was made by his team.
He has a very deep emotion to this land.
In addition to work, he liked to ride motorcycle with his friend when he was young.
He always wants to around the whole after retirement.
When he knew the Grandriders activity he signed up right away.
To feel the land he had made again.

Kang Jian Hua eighty-six-year-old
Chinese people from Anhui, Buddhist,
a quite and shy person. Jian Hua grandpa
used to manage a breakfast shop, kneading the
dough and making soybean milk everyday.
Living along 20 years,
wake up at 4 o'clock every day.

LAI,CING-YAN eighty-seven-year-old
The leader of the grandriders
CING-YAN grandpa used to be a police
when he's young. He just want to prove elder
is able to do everything.
He is the person who starts this activity.
He hopes to increase society pay attention
to elder and encourage the elder activity outside
by starting this activity.

LAI,SIOU-SHENG
SIOU-SHENG grandpa very like chatting with others.
He don't like to join the community activity because
he thinks that is really boring. He knew the grandriders
on newspaper, and he thought that is fun.
Eventually he participated in this activity.

TAN,DE-YU eighty-six-year-old
DE-YU grandpa is a upright soldier.
He is full of power. He always want to
climb the tallest mountain in Taiwan after retirement,
and he did it in the past few years.
He makes him do a big challenge every year,
so he participated in this activity.

WANG,KE-LING eighty-eight-year-old
KE-LING grandpa very like singing and playing outside.
He used to be a soldier. He go to drive taxi after retirement .
KE-LING grandpa very enjoy traveling.
But, he haven't around the whole Taiwan.
He knew the Grandriders from Hondao,
and very interested.
He participated in this group and makes dream come true.

Wang Jhong Tian 90-year-old
Chinese people from Shandong, retreated to Taiwan with the army.
He always has a good sense of humor.Jhong Tian grandpa told us, ''
in spite of that I am an officer, I actually have never touched any guns,
why am I the officer? Because back in the old days,
the military made him to steer the ship to take the soldiers back ,
Jhong Tian said, "Sir, my official rank is unable to do that.''
The officer replied, ''Fine! I promote you to become a major .''
After that, he became a major general.
Jhong Tian grandpa learned driving and calligraphy when he was 70,
the specialty is that he learned calligraphy without others' guidance,
he loves to give his calligraphy as a present to the others,
many of his friend or government also liked his masterpiece.
In Jhong Tian grandpa's mind, he has a big dream,
traveling around Taiwan. Fortunately,
he had a chance to make his dream come true.

WU,JING-HENG eighty-eight-year-old
13 years ago, when WU,JING-HENG went back to China to visit his relative,
he got a call from his son in Taiwan, his son said'' The earthquake had torn our house apart !''
JING-HENG grandpa became a homeless victim of the disaster.
JING-HENG grandpa really appreciate that his friend let him and his wife lived in his house when he needs help.
"I do want to say thank you to Hondao senior
citizen's welfare foundation for giving me this chance to participate
in this activity. Now I can inspire my old friends make the dream come true,
and feedback to the society for giving me a lot of concern and help."

Jhang Hong Dao, seventy six years old,
a devout christians, being a pastor is his talent,
he used to own a english insitute, he is an english teacher,
during that time, he is too busy to spread the gospel, so he decide
to change his job to a full-time preach postor.
''Don't make money only make soul.''Mr.Jhang makes fun to himself.''
Mrs.Jhang Chen Ying Mei, seventy-seven years old,
she is the only lady of the Grandriders.
She was a brilliant student when she was young,Mr. and Mrs.
Jhang knew each other through the introduction of friend.
They fell in love and get married in two months,
Ying Mei grandma always uses her benevolence laugh warm everyone.
She had suffered from cancer two times before and she cured twice,
both of them are really treasure the time they spent together.
Participate in this activity, is not only their dreams,
but also considered as their second honeymoon trip.

JHU,MIAO-GUEI Ninety-four-year-old
JHU,MIAO-GUEI grandpa retreated to Taiwan with the army.
Hair stylist. He is the oldest riders in the grandriders.
Very like riding motorcycle, fishing. He had tried to around the whole Taiwan,
but he failed because his grandson was sick.
When grandpa saw the Grandriders activity.
He is ready for the next arounding Taiwan trip.

SYUN,SIANG-CHUN eighty-five-year-old
SIANG-CHUN very like photography, painting.
His favorite thing is traveling, and capture every moment of trip.
To aroung the whole Taiwan is his dream for a long time.
After knowing Hondao's grandriders activity. He thought,
It's time to make dream come true.
