Jhong Tian grandpa told us, ''in spite of that I am an officer, I actually have never touched any guns, why am I the officer? Because back in the old days, the military made him to steer the ship to take the soldiers back , Jhong Tian said, "Sir, my official rank is unable to do that.'' The officer replied, ''Fine! I promote you to become a major .'' After that, he became a major general. Jhong Tian grandpa learned driving and calligraphy when he was 70, the specialty is that he learned calligraphy without others' guidance, he loves to give his calligraphy as a present to the others, many of his friend or government also liked his masterpiece. In Jhong Tian grandpa's mind, he has a big dream, traveling around Taiwan. Fortunately, he had a chance to make his dream come true.

The Interview
Us: Grandpa, do you have any problem during your tour?
Wang Jhong Tian: The elder like us, suffered from tough life since childhood, when we arrived in Taiwan, we have to be more independent, nothing can beat the human like us.
Us: Before you go touring, did your family worry about you?
Wang Jhong Tian: They do worry about me, because they think I'm too old to do this, I fell down on the ground when I was riding motorcycle on the first day.
Us: What is your happiest memories during the tour.
Wang Jhong Tian: We had visited many nursing home, when I saw those elder, some of them on wheelchair or lay on bed, I went to comfort them, one of the elder cried, I am really touched.
Us: How did you know the "Grandriders" activity?
Wang Jhong Tian: When they were going to held this activity, they put the advertisement on the newspaper, I saw the news, applied it right away.
Us: What was your dream, when you are young?
Wang Jhong Tian: No. When I was young, I'm just satisfied with not getting starved that’s all.
Us: What is your dream now?
Wang Jhong Tian: I hope my calligraphy will be getting better and better.
Us: We are going to participate in the International CyberFair, what would you want to tell the elder in the world?
Wang Jhong Tian: The elder is the burden of society. To have a specialty is a way to help society.
