Plum Tree, meaning the sweet and sour Chinese Treeberry which you may have tasted before. But where is the Plum Tree Creek? Is it the one full of Chinese Treeberries? No. Actually, the river didn't have a name. People called it "Da Keng Gou" which means a deep and wide ditch. When the beautiful stream riches in fishes and shrimps began to be contaminated, a cultural worker Wu Chun-He named it as Plum Tree Creek to aroused the residents to know and love the river. Located at Zhu-Wei Village, Damsui District in New Taipei City. You'd think it's a ditch if you don't take a look carefully. Plum Tree Creek is one of the thirteen tributaries of Damsui River. In early period, it's an irrigaiton rivulet in Zhuwei area. There won't be harvest of crops without the nourish of the Plum Tree Creek. So where is the Plum Tree Creek? We can't find it on the typical map but Google. Located at Min-Sheng Village, Damsui District, New Tipei City, Taiwan.Coordinates : 25¢X 8' 17.57" 121¢X 27' 36.67". It looks like a drainage ditch next to Min-Quan Road No. 25. Origins from Gui-Zhi Keng river¡]25¢X 9' 35.88 121¢X 29' 42.51"¡^, height 316 meters.
