*Following Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s revolutionary exercise.
In November, 1987, Chen, Shao-bai founded Xingzhong Association (Society for the Revival of China)-Taiwan branch, which initiated an outset that revolutionary party revolutionary organization at the first time. The newspapers: ”Taiwan newspaper “,” Taiwan daily News” had reported about this then, the background was under the highhanded domination of governor office, there were full of strong the national consciousness between Taiwanese people. Wang Chao-pei, a member of Fujian branch of United League came to Taiwan for searching for comrades who have common goals, and then Weng, Chun-ming is the first member of Taiwan branch of United League. When the 329 Huanghuagang uprising and the Xinhai revolution were broke out, immediately it gave rise to donations and participation of Taiwanese with ideals and integrity. After the republic of China being established, it sparked the hope to restore Taiwan and stir Taiwanese compatriots to nationalism movement. From 1912 to 1915, there occurred many times of revolutionaries incessantly, for example, Peipu Tsai Ching-lin uprising, Maioli Lo, Fu-Hsing uprising, Da-Hu Chang, Huo-lu uprising, Nanto Shen, A-rong uprising, Yu, Ching-fang, Lo, Chun, Jiang, Ding-zhi’s Xi,Lai-Yen uprising….and so forth. Innumerable victims of sacrificed compatriots caused, no sooner has one fallen than another steps into the breach, as history is full of the similar instances.

On the other hand, along with the increase of the Taiwanese students studied abroad in Japan, the organization of resistance against Japan transferred from Taiwan to Tokyo. It founded “inspiration association”, “New People Association”,” Tokyo Taiwanese Youth Association” successively. Eventually, the efforts and schemes of Lin Hsien-tang and Chiang Wei-shui, in 1921, they went back to Taiwan and set up “Taiwanese cultural association” at Blessed Imelda's School. The cultural association not only delivered new knowledge in the world, but also advocated Dr. Sun, Yat-sen’s revolutionary philosophy and cultural new movement through the reporting of Taiwanese People's Newspaper as well as holding cultural lecture courses, and oration sessions.

Further, a descendant of the Lin family in Wufong, Lin-Zu-mi was discontented with Japanese’ colonization governance, he went back to settle down in Gulangyu, Xiamen and follow up with Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s revolutionary and defended the republic. Later on, impressed by Dr. Sun, Yat-sen’s revolutionary philosophy, a group of Taiwanese young persons who studied in China, LI, You-bang resided in Lu-Zhou, encouraged by Dr.Sun, he dedicated himself to Whampoa Military Academy. During the period of the War of resistance against Japan, he took actual action to participate in the task to resist against Japan and restore Taiwan.

March 12, 1925, Dr. Sun, Yat-sen departed for heaven, March 24, the same year, Chiang Wei-shui convened comrades and hold a memorial meeting of harbor cultural at Taiwanese cultural association, as the Japanese government does not allow Taiwanese grieving for Dr. Sun, Yat-sen, all means of oppressive measures had been used to stop the meeting, However, on a dark night with the raining and blowing, a stately memorial meeting proceeding, how the rare and commendable it is! Afterwards, as it continued holding the memorial meetings for Dr.Sun, Yet-sen in 1926, 1927, 1928. The spirit of Dr. Sun, Yet-sen was kept in Taiwanese mind eternally, which is undoubtedly conspicuous as you can see Dr.Sun Yet-sen’s sculpture made by clipping and pasting for enshrinement and worship till today.

*The third time visiting Taiwan

The first time visiting Taiwan：
On Sep. 8, 1900, it is the first time Dr. Sun Yat-sen came to Taiwan, Before that, Chen Shaobai had visited for twice in 1897 and 1898 for the purpose of establishment on Taiwan branch of the United league with Wu, Wenshow and Yang, Sinru who were running of Riatou foreign goods shop. After Dr. Sun Yat-sen arrived in Taipei, he met with the Japanese governor office in Taiwan-Kodama kentaro and the civil administrator- Koto Sinpei for negotiating weapons as well as set up the revolutionary command post in Xingchi street, Taipei(Changsha street) and staged for Huizhou uprising. In the end, as the forbidden orders on assistance with Chinese revolution given by the new president Ito, Hirobumi, Huizhou uprising confronted with a failure.

The second time visiting Taiwan：
While the republic of China was constructed, YUAN, Shi-Kai impelled to Dr. Sun to stage uprising as his ambition to be emperor and Dr. Sun came to Taiwan again at the time he fell in Yuan expedition movement. On Aug. 5, 1913, Dr.Sun and Hu-Hanmin et al arrived in Keelung port at six o’clock and stayed in the Meiwu shop (Current Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial House). As the stern of the governor‘s control, Dr. Sun give the owner of the shop handwritings of “philanthropy” and “fraternity” by calligraphy as a present and then transferred to Kobei.

The third time visiting Taiwan：
In 1917, Dr. Sun set up the military government of the republic defence in Quangzhou for counteracting with the regime of DUAN, Qi-Rui in Beijin. On June 1, 1918, Dr. Sun resigned the generalissimo post in the military government, Hu, Han-Min and DAI, Ji-Tao followed with him, they embarked on the boat from Quanzhou, arrived in Taiwan via Sandou. They planned to meet with Taiwanese compatriots, due to the interruption of the governor office in Taiwan and forbidden landing, they transferred to Japan eventually. Dr. Sun visited Taiwan at the hard time in revolution, and he schemed to propagate the revolutionary thoughts in Taiwan, however, restrained by the governor office in Taiwan. Nevertheless, Taiwanese nationality consciousness was aroused by the revolutionary principles of Dr. Sun .It was a foundation of Taiwan Restoration as the revolutionary comrades were inspired by Dr. Sun’s spirits.
