Hall on Floor 1st
*Chung Shan Stone Tablets
From the entrance of frontage, you can see the hall placed the bronze statue of Dr. Sun Yat-sen after entering immediately. The designer is Yifan Chen and made of South Africa copper with height 5.8 meter bronze statue and 3.1 meter stand for 8.9 meters in total as well as 16.7metric ton. The calligraphy of the world of Da-Tong carved on it.

Dr. Sun Yat-sen standing with a stick is a creation of Tsao, Chung-en. The original is collected in Sun, Yat-sen hospital in Shenzhen; Dr. Sun Yat-sen sitting on a stone is a creation of Cao, Chong-si.The original is collected in Dr.Sun Yat-sen’s hometown dwelling at Tswei-heng in Chung Shan. Dr. Sun Yat-sen sitting and a script on hand is a creation of ChengYun-xian; The bronze statue of Dr. Sun,Yat-sen standing and wearing a overcoat with a stick on hand imitated from the bronze statue in Zhongshan Mountain,Nanjin.

A creations created by professor Tsao, Chung-en. This creation mainly expresses a scene that Dr. Sun Yat-sen was listening the story of the Taiping Uprising- Overturn Qing Dynasty and reinstate Ming Dynasty told by Ping, Ge-ming,Sr. ,which inspired a root of democratic revolutionary in his mind.
A bronze statue of Yu Youren
The bronze statue of Yu Youren originally located at the traffic arteries-the traffic circle between Ren-Ai Road and Dunhua S. Rd. In April,1997, according to a road plan, it moved to National Dr Sun Yat-sen memorial hall on Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s 120 years old birthday sponsored by all circles. Mr. Yu is revolutionary advanced, thus his bronze statue means giving our high regards to the great man –Dr.Sun Yat-sen. It brought stream of people after the bronze statue set up in Chung Shan Park

Root
Dr. Sun Yat-sen was born in Nov., 12th ,1866 at Tswei-heng village, Xiangshan County(Current: Chung Shan city), Guangdong Province. The work reflects that Dr. Sun Yat-sen at his early youth listened to a senior who had attended telling the story of overturning Qing dynasty, which implies Dr.Sun Yat-sen’s revolutionary thought originated from teenager and root connected with country soil.
Broad and long ranged ambition
The creation is a presentation of the image of Dr.Sun Yat-sen’s attending school period, which shows Dr. Sun Yat-sen attended school overseas and domestically at his teenage. After having a rich experience and wide range of knowledge and seeing a variety different aspects overseas, Dr. Sun Yat-sen adored western theory and opposed opening minds toward the universe, which induced him to make up his mind to reform, promote and develop China hereafter.
Speculation
The work presents that Dr. Sun Yat-sen explored and speculated the truth of innovation during the end of 19 centuries and the early of 20 centuries. The revolutionary thought was put into practice by initiating the activity of overturning Qing dynasty, which includes establishing the first democratic revolutionary group- Xingzhong Association( Society for the Revival of China); meanwhile, scheming and leading armed revolts as well as propagating and organizing revolutionary activities aggressively for many times. Those all reflected that Dr. Sun Yat-sen was flexible to the trend and leading the way to revolutionary with courage.
Monument
The background of the creation is about the historical time Dr.Sun Yat-sen founded the republic of China and served the post of provisional president and later on for a while, the image of him wearing Chinese tunic suit and sitting on sofa. It manifests that Dr Sun. Yat-sen had overturned imperialism and created a whole new historic stage. All his revolutionary spirits, democratic thoughts, and historic exploit are deserved to call a monument for the history of the republic of China and all Chinese people.
Advancing with brave
The creation presents that Dr.Sun Yat-sen to establish the regime for three times before and after, and he insisted with defending democratic republic system. Further, it also expresses that the revolutionary volition and struggling spirits came up with the more frustration he encountered the more brave arose in his mind, no matter how difficulty and setback he suffered. Hand in hand
The piece is the image of Dr. Sun, Yat-sen with his wife.Soong Ching-ling in the 1920s, which embodies Dr. Sun, Yat-sen walked hand in hand with his wife to keep forging ahead for Chinese nation during this period. In addition, it also symbolized the spirit that Chinese people in every era should keep advancing bravely hand in hand for further prosperity of nationality as well as wealth and power of nation

*Chen,Yi-fan
Chen,Yi-fan’s sculptural style is based on realistic portrait, elaborated about the foundation skill and Chen, Yi-fan is the most famous creator upon the epoch of giant image. Chen,Yi-fan’ s registered ancestral home town is Changle, since he created

the carved statues of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Chiang Kai-shek and Yu Youren and so forth, he became a famous sculptor. The statue of Confucius he produced has been generally acknowledged “the most similar to Confucius in my mind” by cross-strait Confucianism. In May,2010, “The academy of Ming-Chiang and art-professor Chen Yi-fan’s Confucious sculpture workshop.

Mr. Wang Xiu-fei’s creations had been awarded many eminent prizes, he carved history on stone. The artist is a phenomenon in the circle of carved sculpture, regarded as a national treasure in Taiwan.

Mr. Wang Xiu-fei(1950) is a sculptor, the art creation is a lonely and arduous road as he considered, you cannot stop midway and must keep enriching himself and absorbing a variety of knowledge and cultivation as well as expand ability of observation and increase life experience and practice simultaneously, which may contributed to the depth and intensity of works. It is needless to remind that sticking to insistence, effort and cultivation all the time, the more crucial is always keeping a transparent and utter innocence as well as holding conscience toward art by taking an oath without changing mind eternally. Being an artist, you should not play up to the trend and pander to the fashion to create a superficial and pointless counterfeit for ingratiate himself with the multitude. A conceited at early stage masterpiece-“Narrating Grandfather”, taken father, nephew and niece as models, his best favorite. As for other local series for example: ”Abundant harvests”, “Seeding”, made the best beautiful description on the rural village in the past. The series is his classical masterpieces at the early stage with fully local flavor, “ a local stone sculptor “ praised by stone sculpture circle then. He commented that the definition to the beauty: plain and nature, the bland is a pure beauty. Having passion with own life, and taking seriously to life is true beauty. Sincerely to people with singleness is benevolent beauty, only if you experience on your own, can you taste true.

The work of Mr. Tsao,Chung-en is famous by figure portrait and stone carving, blending Chinese sculpture skill with and Western style and melting in the work, the creation of depiction shows his spirit and view with abundant inner mind, formed a fashion of distinctive carved sculpture

Tsao, Chung-en(1933), a professional sculptor in China, registered home town in Sanron, Lingshan County, Guangxi Provence. Most of Professor Tsao Chung’s creations are memorial statuaries of celebrity portraits. Tsao, Chung-en ‘s sculpture park is the first park. which raised and designed by the sculptor and collected original creations in China. The park is denominated with the contemporary eminent sculptor –a professor at Guangzhou art college- Tsao, Chung-en’s name. At this sculpture park surrounded with green thicket, collections for the essence of masterpieces that professor Tsao devoted himself in art education and sculptural creations over 40 years was wholly displayed, the subject matters of these creations covers broadly and represented many outstanding figures’ miens, including Dr. Sun, Yat-sen and so on.
