Personal Introduction
Hello ~~everybody. I am Xiao Wei Zong, I am tall and a little bit chubby. I think this is because I love basketball. I play basketball everyday. I am honor that we can participate in 'GlobalSchoolNet'... Via this chance, we know lots of information and features about the specialty of Shetou!Xsocks. We also learned and remembered all the production process of socks, such as the types of socks, the choice of yarn, and the skill of packing, etc. I am extroverted. I like crowd and tend to share every thing good with friends. When class is over, I often stroll in the campus and play games together with my best friends. When I am not happy, I talk to my friends or relatives to look for their advices and make myself feel better. So I always seem to be in a good mood any time.
 
Gains of Research
Since I joined this team to produce webpage, I had to overcome fear to interview the owner of socks company, be patient to integrate data, and do my best to produce webpage. As time passed, our study topic 'the hometown of socks-Shetou' was getting completed gradually. At the beginning, I doubted if we could find anything valuable for socks. Then I knew I was
wrong. It's so complicated to produce socks. There are so many kinds of socks. Manufacture is so amazing. One little mistake can make you reproduce from the beginning. And before mass production, they design and make some samples. After they got customers' approval, they started the mass product. That is how the socks I am wearing come from. After participating in 'GlobalSchoolNet' this time, my curiosity about socks was encouraged. We explored and got more and more about Shetou's sock industry..

97.12.4 English classroom Teacher and we were in classroom, and we discussed everyone's job and the visit to 'Hosiery - Guava Festival in Shetou County'. We decided to visit "Zh Zu Chang Le" on 12.06. On that day, we found many kinds of socks with different functions, materials and prices. We also asked street vendors something about socks. They told us a lot of information. We really appreciated them.
97.12.26 Meeting room After checking everyone's will, our teacher assigned us jobs, photo-taking group, interviewing group, recording group, etc. Then we make sure what we should do. For example, everybody has to take notes during interviews. I took pictures and recorded conversation. Picture is for understanding of production process. Because sometime voice recorder of DV might be affected by factory noises; we prepared a recording pen to solve this problem. Only via coordination we could record the interviews completely.
98.1.6 Meeting room We held this meeting to discuss our questions for the interviews in HsiaoTex Enterprise on seventh January.
98.1.7 Classrooms of the second class of sixth gradeand HsiaoTex Enterprise Previewed our questions and checked if we have already understood every points of this interview. And also made sure we carried all equipments with us. We were very excited while setting out. The president of the firm introduced the processes patiently to us, and we got much information. But the voice of machine was so loud that we felt we were almost deaf. So it's not easy to work there.
98.1.15 Meeting room We went to boarding factory and visited the entity stores. This afternoon, after the examination, 3 classmates and I went to a family boarding factory and entity stores. In today's visit, we collected some information that we did not know before. When boarding, you will use many different sizes of template. Each size of socks has particular template. Large amount of socks were packaged into one net, then workers put them into dying vat. After dyeing, it is washing. Then socks were dehydrated in a whizzer. Finally dried them. This is the whole process.

The classroom of second class of sixth grade Arranged document, jobs, and discussed the production progress. From the beginning, the computers were the most important equipment. Especially today, we finished the production flow chart of the socks in computers. We must thank the exist of computers. After teachers arranged everyone's work, I turned on my computer and finished my part in a very short time. However, teachers hoped me to make it more abundant and attractive. 'Well, I have work harder.' I thought.

The classroom of second class of sixth grade All team members mended information together. While we handled the basic structure at first, we got lots of troubles. Fortunately our teachers were nearby and answered our questions until we understood.Our teachers also offered us some reference website to us.
