Personal Introduction:

I seem to be gentle and quiet, but actually I am a very lively and out-going person. I am very naughty and often make my teacher feel very troublesome. Sometimes, I make everybody laugh. I often discuss our homework, or chat, or play T-Ball with classmates. Sometimes, I am punished to stand still by the teacher because of the distraction or talking to classmates during class session. I am naughty, so I often make joke to my classmates to make them do not know whether to laugh or cry.
Although I'm not fat, actually, I can eat a lot. I can nearly eat double size of meal at home. Participating in 'GlobalSchoolNet ' not only let me have a deeper understanding of socks that we use in the daily life, but also let me study the importance of teamwork.

Gains of Research:

Participating in this competition not only let me get more knowledge of socks, but also let me study the importance of the teamwork. I am responsible of the 'interview' on our team, and this training makes a coward like me learned how to post questions to the interviewees.
In the beginning, I thought this activity should have been very difficult;

however, I found it was not so difficult after I did it. I needed to arrange data and write down the communications of interview. Therefore,I am not only improved in typing speed, but also writing skills. Though I often scolded by the teacher because of absent-minded in the activity course. But, I got back on track very soon. I still remember the first time of our interview; my mother drove me back to Shettou from Taizhong in a hurry.
After finished the interview, I felt very tired and I told my mother that I wanted to quit.
But, my mother told me: 'You should have perseverance when doing everything. Don't give up!'
I thought about it and then decided to continue. Recently, I learned more knowledge about socks in the last several visits. (For example: Which kind of socks is more cold-proof? Which kind of socks is in great demand?) Which kind of socks has higher cost? We received some socks and drink as presents after our visit. In every meeting, all of us brought out our suggestions to discuss. Through this discussion, we not only prepared well of the interviews, but also built up our team rapport. Sometimes, we also stayed in the school to work and had lunch together in the afternoon on Wednesday. We have never done this before. I'm very glad to participate in this activity. I really hope to have another chance to cooperate and learn things with different persons.

97.12.04	English classroom	Today we decided to visit "Zh Zu Chang Le - Socks Festival", so we discussed the pick-up time and job definition then. After discussing, we determined to assemble in the school and then set out together. Ming Yao teacher and my mother will pick up us on that day. As for the job assignment, Pei Fen and I were responsible for interviewing. Wei Zong was responsible for photographing. Besides, each person would have a camera on that day.
97.12.06	Traditional market of Shetou	This afternoon, we gathered in school and set out together to "Zh Zu Chang Le - Socks Festival". After we arrived, teacher asked us to divide into two groups, and go to each stand to take a picture. He also asked us to interview and understand the functions of different types of socks. Through today's visit, I learned more knowledge of the socks, besides, I also become braver. I hope I could increase more knowledge about socks in the visiting next time.
97.12.26	Meeting room	When we come to job assignment, everyone became very shy. Finally, I volunteered to take interview as my job. Wei Zong and Cai Tou (Cai Zong Han) were responsible for photographing. Certainly, since Jing Ru is good at writing, she took the part of article writing! Yu Jie was responsible for taking pictures. Wan Yu was responsible for the recording. As for Pei Fen, she took the same job as I did. Well! I think this job is a big challenge for me since I am timid!
98.01.06	Meeting room	Today we discussed the details of visiting HsiaoTex Enterprise on the 7th January. After discussion, we decided to stay at school and have lunch together. Ming Yao, the teacher, was the host of our first lunch. He said that we should take turns to treat each other for lunch every time. (Certainly, it's a joke!) The naughty Wei Zong also joked that he wanted to have a drink. After lunch, Yu Jie and I wrote the homework together first, and then we discussed the precautions of interview with everybody.
98.01.07	English classroom	This noon, we stayed and had the meal together. I found the Cai Zon Han has a better appetite than me! After the meal, we discussed and arranged the questions of the interview in HsiaoTex Enterprise. After discussing, Pei Fen and I were still the interviewers. ,Wei Zong and Cai Tao were responsible for photographing. After finishing the discussion, we were set to HsiaoTex Enterprise.
98.01.07	HsiaoTex Enterprise	Visit the production procedure of the socks. When we got there, the president introduced the characteristics of different kind of socks to us first. He also took us to visit the production procedure of the socks. During the period of visit, we saw a special machine, which are used to test the new product, 'the air cushion socks'. I benefited a lot during the visit in HsiaoTex Enterprise.
98.01.15	Meeting room	Because we will visit the socks factory and the entity shop of the socks this afternoon, we discussed the questions we will propose together. However, the teacher said some people could not join this visit because the car was not big enough. After discussing, we decided to send Wei Zong, Cai Tao and Wan Yu to responsible for this visit.
98.01.21	Computer classroom	Arranged the photos of each interviews. In the beginning, I was scolded by the teacher because of absent-minded. However I got back on track soon after. Furthermore, I had more tense of the photo classification than the other team members. The teacher reminded us we should continue these tasks at school tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, but I couldn't because I must go to cram school. Therefore, I tried my best to classify the materials in order at once and transfer them to other team members.
98.02.10	Classrooms of the second class of sixth grade	Today everyone should finish his own job. Because I did not bring the materials home, so when Yu Jie told me we needed to prepare ' personal introduction ' and ' the gains of study', I was so surprised. Then I began to try to get my writing faster. After I went to school, I still tried to get my writing done faster. Besides, the teacher said we could go home after he felt satisfied with our writing. After hearing this, I continued to type with more enthusiasm. Therefore, I tried to get my work done faster till four thirty, however, I still didn't finish it so the teacher also didn't approve my article. After going home, I have to continue to get my work done fast and hoped I could finish this as soon as possible.
