2. Geographic Location  [Hualien County Map] [Wanrong Township Map]

Jiangqing Village, an indigenous tribe located against the mountain, is located in the north part of Hualien County Wanrong Township and covers 640.9724 hektares, abuting Silin Village in the north and next to Fenglin Village in the south. Central Mountains in the west of the village border Nantou County and Pinglin Mt. is the nearest massif to Jianqing. Qingshui River in the north borders Silin Village, originated from Central Mountains, through Jianqing, Nanping and Beilin, and flowing to Hualein River as conflux.

Qingshui River flows through the valley, clear and unpolluted, which can serve visitors itself and forest bath is available as woods flourishing aroud. Transportation of the area is not convenient yet, but lots of visitors are attracted and visit the area in holidays. Qingshui River should be regarded as a river maintaining original view and a tour spot with high natural level.

Inside transportation mainly adopts industrial roads, but outward adopts Huatung Road of Expressway 9. Jianqing Village borders Linnanpingli in the east, and abuts Fenglin Village Fengyi Neighborhood (Fenglin Mt.) in the south. Villagers visit Fenglin Village with the highest frequency usually by motorcycle or driving through Expressway 9, costing about 10-20 minutes. Huadong Railway serves as another transportation tool, suitable for long distance travel. People can take the train at Nanping Station if they plan to visit Hualien or Taidong, but more trains are available in Fenglin Train Station with time more flexible. If one wants to visit Jianqing Village from Hualien, he/she can take a bus or train to Nanping Station of Fenglin Village, turn to a alleyway towards west (turn right from the provincial road), and walk to Jianqing Village for about 5-10 minutes.
