Taipei 101 has become not only something essential to our daily life but also the most beautiful memory. It is like a paint brush rocketing towards the sky, adding colorful new scenery to the sky of Taipei city. No matter it is just the world¡¦s tallest building or a pride representing mankind¡¦s hard work, it is something that, as teachers and parents, we all like our children to look deeper and think.

Our project started from the B1 floor. With help from teachers and parents, kids gradually learned more about the supermarket, the clothing and boutique shops, the restaurants, food court and so on. Besides, some of the kids got the opportunity traveling to some foreign countries during their previous summer break. All kids designed some questionnaires and asked those who travel abroad to present these questions to foreign people that actually live on the foreign land! Also, we took advantage of the big international events held at the World Trade Center and encouraged our kids to actually talk to foreigners and ask about their opinion on Taipei 101. During the interviews, many interviewees were impressed and said the kids are brave and cute and their English is good. It goes without saying that our kids have definitely become the best little diplomat!

During these various interviews with VIPs such as the professional and humorous architect, Mr. Wang, the kind and approachable technical expert, Grandpa Dunstan Chen, and the passionate and energetic general manager, Uncle Hung-Ming Lin and the pretty and warm chairwoman, Ms. Diana Chen, these kids benefited a lot from their lives that have been filled with so much! Despite the fact that while doing the questionnaires and interviews, kids got tired every now and then, they still survived the entire project with their broad smile and loveliness, which really made us, the parents, proud and happy; after all, our kids have grown!

We truly thank the teachers for giving the kids this amazing opportunity to probe and challenge Taipei 101. Maybe we don¡¦t have a big budget on doing this project, maybe we don¡¦t have a lot of resources, and still, we conquered and achieved this impossible mission. One of the members described ¡§The project is like a magic seed to us. Our teacher planted it in our hearts. As time goes by, the seed grows up as a huge tree and we grow up, too. It¡¦s not easy in the first place; however, by lots of practice, learning, determination and perseverance, we finally see from the top of the tree¡Xour eyes are opened and we can see the whole world.¡¨ Indeed, parents also tried their best and climbed as hard as they could along with their kids. This is a tough project but the most precious part is that we got to be side by side with our kids and we shared the pains, views and joys along the path and at the final destination. We sincerely hope we are not far away from the next pretty scenery. We are so willing to pack and move happily along with our kids!
