The combination of “Time Discovery” team members can be called as a “fusion of races”, including southern Fukien , Haka, external provinces, and “combo” of 1/4 southern Fukien plus 3/4 external province. However, there's something in common—all of them have never lived in the military dependents villages. Their understanding of village is from books or other people.

To experience the culture of military dependents village and enhance our study, we saw an afternoon Chinese opera at Ma Lan Chinese Opera Club through the arrangement of our teachers and parents. (Although I didn't understand it, I felt the meanings of their voices and postures were quite interesting.) We spent a whole evening to learn Chinese knotting. (Everyone brought home a Chinese knot of fireworks); we made dumplings during lunch break. (The dumplings can only be seen from far away.) As for learning mah-jong, the answer was “it is not for kits”.

In addition, we hope to share the content with all the students. As such, an exhibition was held at campus on January 12~20. We took turns to explain to the visitors and earned favorable feedback from classmates.

When we shared with classmates, we also learned more at the same time.
